In October 2022, Ingeborg was one of three artists invited to hold a week-long workshop for 1st - 7th grade children in Inderøya, Norway. The workshop invited the children into the interdisciplinary work of music, visual (figure) theater and dance. During the week, the children received different classes in the three art-disciplines that by the end of the week resulted in a final performance. The children participated in several of the stages of making a performance. From keeping score and notation of the performance components and material throughout the progression of the week, to making simple choices regarding their own costume and scenography.
In collaboration with the other artists; musician Ole Tobias Andersen and visual theater artist Ida Westvig, a score for the final performance was made in beforehand, but in line with Ingeborg's philosophy and pedagogical method, it was the results from the children meeting the different tasks given, that truly shaped the final material used. Using her pedagogical methods from her work with children and youths at Rom for dans, Ingeborg introduces the children to creative dance through improvisation work. The focus is to give the children tools for creating and developing their own artistic expression in movement, and guiding them through clear tasks that can facilitate this.
